Administrator of the Year

The MASP Administrator of the Year award was developed to honor an administrator from a member school who exemplifies the dedicated and innovative leadership of administrators of the state of Minnesota.

Selection Criteria

Administrator must be nominated by a member of the Minnesota Association of Secretaries to the Principals. Application must show evidence of the administrator's openness to new ideas; willingness to collaborate with staff and students; and demonstration of interest in concerns from staff, students and community.

Eligibility

All applicants must be a MASSP member and have been employed in a school for a minimum of three years. Applicant's secretary/administrative assistant must be a member of MASP.

Letters of recommendation from:

  • an MASP member
  • a teacher
  • a student
